Why not?

Decided it’s time for me to fulfill my dream of holding The Spiral in my hands, so tonight I began the process of publishing it as a paperback.  And I think “process” will be a fitting word.  It should end up as a 5.25” x 8” paperback with a glossy cover, and hopefully will look and feel just as good as a book you’d buy in the store.  Since it’s a new edition, it’ll also have a new cover.  I’m rather fond of the eBook cover, but I’m anxious to see what I’ll be able to come up with, working with a professional cover designer.  I’m on a budget, so it won’t be anything too fancy or elaborate, but I’m hoping for something that will still impress and capture the same mood as the original.  This should also open up some additional marketing and promotional opportunities for me, and hopefully will help me reach a few more readers who aren’t able to read digital books, or just don’t like them.

The process can take up to two months, so it’ll be a while yet, but if you’re interested, there will likely be some free copies signed by yours truly available, so stay tuned.

Haven’t had much chance to work on the new novel yet, as the day job has been taking up a lot of my time and soaking up most of my creative juices, but I’m still excited by the concept and the possibilities it promises, so I’m hoping to get cranking soon and start churning out some pages.

Hope you’re doing great.  Take care and thanks for reading.
